Mark

Mark was born Jun 16, 1891.

He married Lucy Jones In Nebraska in January of 1914. Lucy was also born in 1891. Mark worked for Laurence County Construction duing the depression. They had seven children; five sons and two daughters.

Mark was a mainstay at a great many of the Cushing reunions until his death on July 2, 1993. He is buried n Spearfish, SD beside his wife.

Dale & I were married Jan 4, 1948, in Belle Fourche SD. We had teo children, Jim & Cindy. We moved to eastern SD where Dale was Agronomist for US Sugar Co. We purchased a 160 acre farm, then leased it out when we moved to Omaha, NE. From there we moved to Auburn NY where Dale was Director of Agriculture. We lived there for seven years. Dale retired ub 1983 and we moved back tothe farm. I worked as Director of Social Services at Hilltop until 1995 when I retired.

Our sone James is a Drug & Alchohol Counselor in Sioux Falls, SD. Jim's wife is a teacher at Turning Point. Jamie, their son, graduated in 1995, went a year to Worthington College. Jamie was active in wrestling and football and loves to hunt and fish. He is working and going to college nights. Lorrane attends St. Mary's and is active in sports, which keeps her very busy. Steve and Cindy live in Sioux Falls.

Our family loves to spend time at the lake and family get-togethers.

Glenn & I have been retired sinc 1990. We spend summers travelling and at our Boulder, WY home, fishing, golfing and visiting our children, grandchildren & greaqt-grandchildren.

Glenn was a sheet metal worker, and did mostly commercial construction. I retired from Consolidated Freightways Trucking Co. We moved to Casper, WY in 1994 and lived in our 36 foot fifth wheel trailer. In the last six years we have travelled extensively in teh US, Canada and Mexico. We spend the winters in Arizona.

About our children:

Roseanne works for a doctor in Casper and her husband Dan works for Amoco. Their oldest son Dan just finished s stint in the US Army and now works for the National Guard. He lives in Grand Junction, CO. Nat, his wife and sone live in Excondido, CA. Nat is in the Navy and is assigned to a sub tender. Zack is a first year student at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena CA. Abby is a senior in high school in Casper.

Bonnie works for the schools system and Dale is Business Agent for the Sheet Metal Workers Union. Both Jake and Adam are Metal workers. Bonnie is a fly fisherman and the whole family are bow hunters.

Kris isCustomer Service Supervisor for the city of Gillette, WY. Gary works for Cobre Tire. Brandon and Taylor attend school in Gillette.

Sandy is a full-time student at Mesa State in Grand Junction, CO and works for a counhseling agency. Gary works for Freightliner Diesel parts. Sandy has two stepsons, Gary James and Dustin.

Rick is a sheetmetal worker a is forman for Arrowhead Sheetmetal in Casper.

Dianne works for an investment broker in Casper. Shawn and Crystal are senior & junior in high school. Juannette is in junior high. Austin is in 1st grade. Amber is in pre-school.
